About the Centre
Blacktown Aquatic Centre is Western Sydney's main competition pool hosting over 50 swimming meets each year. Keiran Perkins broke the 800m Freestyle World Record in our Competition pool in 1992.
Blacktown Aquatic Centre underwent a refurbishment to expand our services and provide a training facility for swimmers at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
The Centre prides itself on being more than just a competition pool however, offering health, fitness, fun and leisure opportunities for everyone. Whether you are looking for a day out with the kids, the opportunity to relax or if you are ready to improve your fitness, we have the facilities and programs available for you.
Dive In Movies Saturday 17 January 2015!
Join us for some school holiday fun in the lead up to Australia Day 2015 at the Blacktown Aquatic Centre Dive In Movies! Float in the pool or set up a family picnic on the grass as you relax and enjoy a movie under the stars.

Feature Movie: Ice Age 4 Continental Drift
Time: Doors open 7pm and the movie will screen at 8.15pm
Cost: Adult $5.00, Child $2.00, Family $10.00 (family includes 2 adults and 3 school aged children).
Early bird Tickets available to BAC members and Learn to Swim participants from 13-19 Dec 2014. General public ticket sales from 20 Dec 2014 - 17 Jan 2015. This event has sold out in previous years so purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Kidz Kaper School Holiday Program
Get the kids outdoor, active and having fun by enrolling them in the Kidz Kaper School Holiday program.
Dates: 12 - 23 January 2015 (Monday - Friday only)
Cost: only $25.25 per day
Time: Children can be dropped off at the centre between 8am - 9am and picked up no later than 5pm.
Activities: Sports, outdoor games, cooking, arts and craft, pool games, giant inflatable fun, water safety skills and loads more!
What to bring: Towel, swimmers, change of clothes, sunscreen hat, joggers for sports activities, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. If your child wishes to purchase lunch from the kiosk please place a lunch order with the kiosk when you drop them off in the morning.
Work will be taking place in the Blacktown Aquatic Centre car park from 30th Oct. We do not anticipate this will cause any major disruptions to public use of the car park. however please be aware that some areas may not be accessible.
