Generic Plan of Management for Natural Area - Bushland

Blacktown City Council (Council) has a diverse network of open space that covers various levels of recreation use. In total, Council manages and maintains approximately 800 reserves with a total area of approximately 1,400ha of community land. The Plan of Management for Natural Areas- Bushland aims to provide a basis for guiding Council's ongoing management of Bushland within the Blacktown Local Government Area in accordance with the requirements of the NSW Local Government Act (1993) (the Act). This plan addresses community land classified as 'Natural Area- Bushland' throughout Blacktown City that forms part of the broader scheme of the City's open space network.

The Reserve 350, Neoblie & Surrounding Reserve, Mt Druitt Plan of Management was commissioned by Blacktown City Council in November 2006 and was undertaken by Landscape Architectural consultants Environmental Partnership over December 2006 - January 2007.

Urban Bushland Management Consultants Pty Ltd ('UBMC') has been retained by Blacktown City Council to prepare a Plan of Management for a parcel of community land in Mt Druitt known as the Dr Charles McKay Reserve.
