Abandoned Trolleys

Abandoned shopping trolleys can become an environmental hazard in bushland, creeks and waterways as well as being untidy and encouraging anti-social behaviour.

Trolleys pose a potential danger to residents, visitors and property, especially those left unattended on roads and footpaths, which can injure pedestrians or collide with motor vehicles.

It is an offence to leave a shopping trolley unattended in a public place or dumped in a waterway.
