Description of Proposed Development
In accordance with Section 93 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, notice is hereby given that Council proposes to enter into a Planning Agreement with North West Transport Hub Pty Limited and Mastergroup Lot 211 Pty Limited for the future development of the Riverstone West Precinct in the North West Growth Centre. The draft agreement relates to State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) 2006 (Amendment No 7).
The Draft Planning Agreement provides details on the provision of public amenities and services to the Riverstone West Precinct in the North West Growth Centre, along with the applicable amendment to State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) 2006 (Amendment No 7).
The Draft Planning Agreement and SEPP amendment are being publicly exhibited simultaneously with the public exhibition of Draft Precinct Plans for the Riverstone West Precinct, prepared by the Growth Centres Commission. A copy of the Draft Planning Agreement is available for inspection at the Blacktown City Information Centre, located on the ground floor of the Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown, from 17 March 2009 to 15 April 2009.

Parties wishing to make comment on the Draft Planning Agreement are invited to forward written submissions to Council at the abovementioned address by Wednesday 15 April 2009, quoting file reference 145-536-14/2.
