Banks Reserve
Banks Reserve is located on both sides of Lalor Creek between Joseph Banks Drive and Vardy's Rd, Kings Langley. It has significant stands of native vegetation that form part of a wildlife corridor extending to the north and south. Lalor Creek runs north to south through the reserve.
The native vegetation has been overgrown with weed species, but some original canopy and understorey species remain, the regeneration of native species is proving successful. There are remnant species from Cumberland Plain Woodland and Alluvial Woodland Communities on the site.
An example of regeneration works in the foreground, with good regenerating bushland visible in the background.
