Bushland Reserves

Bushland Reserves of the City of Blacktown

The City of Blacktown contains a number of bushland reserves throughout the Local Government Area; many of these contain endangered ecological vegetation communities and regionally significant plant species. Council and the community have been working together for several years to improve the condition of our local bushland through the implementation of current bush regeneration and revegetation techniques in Council bushland reserves.

Extra volunteers are always welcome to join in on the regeneration activities with a bushcare group. If you are interested in getting involved, simply call Council's Natural Areas Team on 9839 6000, find out your local group, when the groups meet. Then all you need to do is turn up at the date and time nominated, fill in a registration form and have fun!
