Sustainable Schools Newsletter

Council produces a Sustainable Schools Newsletter each Term, which aims to provide teachers with information on current environmental programs, grant opportunities and environmental events their school can participate in.

If you are a teacher in the Blacktown LGA and would like to be added to the Sustainable Schools Mailing List, please contact Council's Environmental Education and Strategy Officer on 9839 6131.

Eco- Active Schools Program

The Eco-Active Schools Program provides grants totalling $30,000 to schools in the Blacktown Local Government Area to carry out an environmental project over 12 months. Suitable projects may cover water or energy conservation, waste reduction, bush regeneration, biodiversity or water quality.
