Blacktown Creek
Blacktown Creek flows into the Parramatta River, which flows into Sydney Harbour. Blacktown Creek passes through several parks or reserves including William Lawson Wetlands, Orana Park, Wall Street Reserve and Mitchell Reserve.

The water quality of Blacktown Creek is generally poor and not very many water bugs can be found.

Blacktown Creek can also be seen at Timbertop Reserve, which is located on Norman Street at Prospect and is owned by Blacktown City Council. The natural vegetation found at this site is considered endangered as it forms part of the Cumberland Plain Woodland. Timbertop Reserve is located in the upper catchment of Blacktown Creek.
