Mount Druitt Waterholes

Mt Druitt Waterholes are located on Simpson Hill Road, Mt Druitt. The early European settlers used the Waterholes as a water source for the Druitt Estate. It was also where travellers stopped to water their horses travelling to of from Penrith and the Blue Mountains.

This natural wetland system was once terribly degraded but has now been rehabilitated with landscaped gardens and seating making this place attractive for visitors. Ropes Creek flows into Mt Druitt Waterholes.
