Tuscan Waters

Tuscan Waters Wetlands

Tuscan Waters Wetland is located on Greenhill Drive off Meurants Lane in Glenwood. This wetland has five ponds. Ponds 1-3 are located in between Elba Way/Chianti Crescent and Livorno Road. Pond 4 can be seen along a walkway downstream from the bridge on Greenhill Drive and pond 5 in located in between Tuscan Way and Maltilda Way. Native and feral ducks can be seen in all of the ponds at this wetland.

This wetland is also known as Refalo Reserve and Lalor Creek flows into it. This wetland is made up of five lakes that are used to treat stormwater collected from the local urban area.

Water enters the wetland system near Old Windsor Road and leaves the wetland after pond 5.

Tuscan Waters also provides recreational value for the public with picnic seating, walking paths and a playground.
