Issues
Over the last few decades, Blacktown’s growth has been sustained and rapid, making Blacktown the most populous city in New South Wales. The increase in population within the City continues to place pressure on the environment including our creeks and waterways, our air quality and biodiversity. With this pressure comes issues that arise, such as salinity and littering, that must be addressed to ensure the environment and community well being are maintained.
