Congratulations to Blacktown City Council Residents on saving water
Blacktown City residents are achieving the objectives of Blacktown City 2025 by reducing the consumption of resources and are saving approximately 1 billion litres of water a year by using water more efficiently at home. Blacktown families are also the most efficient water users in Sydney according to a water saving audit conducted on behalf of Sydney Water in 2006.
This is an incredible effort and Blacktown City Council wants to congratulate its residents who have initiated water saving techniques in their homes.
Council would like to encourage the community to keep up the great work by continuing to save water but would also like to encourage residents to think about what may be the next step in further reducing the amount of water used at home.
