Blacktown City Council, renowned for its premium Australia Day celebrations, is living up to its reputation again this year with the much anticipated Australia Day at the Rooty Hill event.
"Blacktown City's Australia Day events have attracted fantastic crowds in previous years and our celebrations are without doubt one of the largest in New South Wales," Mayor of Blacktown City, Councillor Alan Pendleton said.
"Blacktown City celebrates our multiculturalism and what better day to once again come together as a community and celebrate what our great country offers to everyone who chooses to call Australia home. I encourage the community to join in with our family friendly, alcohol free Australia Day celebrations as it will truly be a day to remember," he added.
