Blacktown City's Animal Holding Facility, Sunday 29 June, 2008
The first Pet Festival of its kind to be held in Blacktown City will take place at the Blacktown City Holding Facility on Sunday, June 29 between 10.30am - 2.30pm.
The Pet Festival is the perfect pet friendly day and an opportunity to find out how to look after your pet and raise community awareness about responsible pet ownership.
The day will include a range of activities for you and your furry friend to enjoy including; FREE microchipping for Blacktown residents (max 2 per household), information stalls, displays and entertainment.
Other highlights on the day will include dog-training demonstrations, a petting farm, face painting, RSPCA children's activities, giveaways and lots more.
Opportunities will also be available on the day to sign up for the facility's volunteer program that assists in regularly grooming, exercising and socialising animals.
Come along and bring your family and friends to support this wonderful pet friendly event.

Location: 415 Flushcombe Road, Prospect (cnr Great Western Hwy)
Parking is not available in the facility on the day but plenty of off street parking will be available on Flushcombe Road and Augusta Street, Prospect - both of which are in easy walking distance from the facility.
Entry to the Pet Festival is FREE. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring their pets along but they must be collared and on a lead at all times.
