Blacktown City Council has released the first edition of the Animal Holding Facility's (AHF) newsletter Paws for your Pet. The quarterly newsletter is available from Council's Animal Holding Facility and features tips, stories and news from the facility.
Edition one of Paws for your Pet features a letter from a lady who recently rehomed one of the dogs at the Animal Holding Facility, it also had information on how to join the Volunteer Program - a program that works to assist and support staff and animals at the facility, and some quirky facts.
Paws for your Pet is available from the front desk at the Animal Holding Facility , Council's Information Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown or by visiting Council's website www.blacktown.nsw.gov.au.
The next edition of Paws for your Pet will be available in September.
Blacktown City Animal Holding Facility opening hours are:
8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
9.00am - 1.00pm Saturday
9.00am - 11.00am Sunday
