2007 Blacktown City Festival Event - FREE
Imagine a time in a futuristic world, where the blazing sun edges towards the Earth in an inevitable collision. That is what audiences can expect to see when Stalker Performance Projects present "Red" at the Emerton Leisure Centre (corner Jersey Road, Emerton) during the 2007 Blacktown City Festival.
Frenetic and dangerous, "Red" is a large scale, visually spectacular performance, directed by David Clarkson, from the internationally acclaimed physical theatre company Stalker.
Over three nights of entertainment, Tuesday, May 29 until Thursday, May 31 from 7.30pm the free performance by 'Red' is expected to be the highlight of this year's Blacktown City Festival.
"Red" is movement work in the extreme with Stalker's trademark acrobatic and lyrical aerial dance language, live music, catapults and 4.5 metre stilt walkers, exploring the unpredictable landscape of the imagination.
The performances are supported by DanceKool with real Hip Hop and real style. Renowned across Australasia for their exciting Hip Hop showcases, versatile styles, wicked choreography and quality dancers.
Tickets are FREE and available now but bookings are essential. To book your seats, phone Blacktown City Council on 9839 6000.
