The Blacktown Solar City Consortium includes BP Solar, Integral Energy, ANZ, Landcom, Big Switch Projects and Blacktown City Council. A partnership between government, industry and the community, the project will help residents and businesses in the Blacktown City community change the way they think about and use energy. Blacktown Solar City offers residents the opportunity to install and finance discounted solar power systems, retrofit their homes with insulation and undertake home energy audits. Businesses can also participate by installing solar electricity systems on their premises and undertaking energy efficiency programs.
