Splash into Summer at Blacktown Aquatic Centre's Family Fun Day

Bring the whole family along to Blacktown Aquatic Centre's (Boyd Street, Blacktown) annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, November 10, 2007, between 12noon - 5pm.
The annual Family Fun Day is a great opportunity to welcome Summer, with a wide range of activities, games and entertainment on offer including:
- Giant Inflatable games and activities
- Live music and prize giveaways
- Mobile climbing wall
- Jumping castle, face painting and guest visit by Paddle Pop Lion
- Sausage sizzle
- Wacky games and fun
- Free health checks and sample sports massages
- Get Green for the Day and visit Council's recycling tent, learn how to recycle, view the great recycling products and get a few freebies.
- Local community groups will also be on hand to offer information about their activities and membership offers.
- Health and fitness advice and equipment demonstrations by staff.
Normal entry fees and operating hours of the Centre will apply on the day with the activities, games and entertainment all free!
"The Blacktown Aquatic Centre is an integral part of the city and we are proud to offer the community a reminder of the opportunities that the centre offers. I encourage everyone to visit the centre, enjoy the activities and take advantage of this fantastic facility," Mayor of Blacktown City, Councillor Leo Kelly, OAM said.
Staff will be on hand throughout the day to provide information on all the Centre's programs and services and answer any queries.
