Heritage Assistance Program
Blacktown City Council has a heritage assistance program to provide financial assistance to owners of properties listed as heritage items on Blacktown Local Environmental Plan 1988. The program provides dollar for dollar funding of up to $2,000 for conservation work to heritage items.

Important Notes:
Funding assistance is available only for works relating to the maintenance, repair or reinstatement of original elements on heritage items. It is not available for alterations and additions to heritage items.
An application must be approved prior to the commencement of the work. Funding will not be provided for retrospective work.
Funding is not available for commercial buildings or buildings owned by government agencies.
