Mt Druitt Hospital Opening - 1982
Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, performing the official opening of the Mt Druitt Hospital, Monday 11th October 1982 at 11:30am, accompanied by the Hon. Neville Wran, then Premier of NSW.

Mt Druitt Race Track - 1948 to 1958
The famous Mt Druitt racing circuit had spectator attendance often exceeding 15,000 and was believed to be one of the best motor racing circuits in the country. The course was 3.6 kms long and sitauted on what is now Whalan Reserve, the Mt Druitt Industrial Area and Madang Avenue Primary School.

Mt Druitt Railway Station - 1912
The First Railway Station at Mt Druitt was opened on 19th August 1881 (photo taken 1912). Mr A Guthrie - Station Master at left. Postal services operated at the station between 12th October 1885 and January 1918.

The second Mt Druitt Railway Station was erected in 1946 and was demolished in 1974.
The third Railway Station, now near Westfield Mt Druitt, was opened on the 8th December 1974.

Mt Druitt Village Shop - around 1920
Operated by Miss G Scherell & Brother B Scherell. The Store included a wine bar, estate agent, general store and produce store.
