Young Drivers
FREE PARENT WORKSHOP - HELPING LEARNER DRIVERS
Free Information
In Blacktown, the crash history demonstrates the vast majority of young drivers are safe drivers.
Most drivers are safe because they need to keep their licence so they can get to work, enjoy social occasions and plan for the future.
Some of the challenges for young drivers include knowing how the system works so they can:
- Buy a car without being ripped off,
- Get insurance in case they have an at-fault crash,
- Avoid the attention of Police and fines,
- Keep their licence once they get it.
They also need up-to-date information so they know what happens if they are convicted of a drink-drive or drug-drive offence.
