Draft Ropes Creek Precinct Plan
Council is in receipt of a draft Precinct Plan for the Ropes Creek Precinct of the former ADI site, recently released by the Minister for Planning under the provisions of Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No. 30 - St Marys (SREP 30).
The Ropes Creek Precinct is located entirely within the Blacktown LGA. The Precinct covers approximately 33 hectares of land bounded by the Eastern Precinct (previously released) to the east and a future Regional Park to the north, west and south.
Ropes Creek Precinct is zoned part "Urban" and part "Employment" under SREP 30. The draft Precinct Plan and Development Control Strategy outlines the proposed provisions and controls relating to the development of the Ropes Creek Precinct to accommodate both residential and employment generating land uses with associated facilities to serve local residents and local employees.
The draft Ropes Creek Precinct Plan and Development Control Strategy for the ADI Site, St Marys will be exhibited from 17 July to 14 August 2007.
