Off Leash Areas
Each local Council is required to provide at least one 'off-leash' area. Blacktown City Council has five off-leash areas, one within each Ward boundary.
Your dog may run off the leash in these areas, but it must still be under your control.
Blacktown City Council's off-leash areas can be found at:
- Ward 1
Sherwood Reserve (reserve 254) — Hambledon Road, Quakers Hill - Ward 2
Faulkland Crescent Reserve (reserve 464) — Faulkland Crescent, Kings Park - Ward 3
Orana Park Reserve (reserve 48) — Orana Avenue, Seven Hills - Ward 4
May Cowper Reserve, North Eastern End (reserve 614) — Francis Road, Rooty Hill - Ward 5
Tregear Reserve, North End (reserve 218) — Ellsworth Drive, Tregear
Remember, it is required by law that dog droppings must be removed and disposed of correctly.
