Preschools

There are three Preschools owned and managed by Blacktown City Council. All Preschools provide quality care in a safe and secure environment.

The Preschools have places available for children aged between 3-6 years and provide care for 6 hours per day.Individual programs are developed for each child that are challenging and appropriate to their stage of development. We encourage children to think, feel, ask and explore as well as enhance their feelings of self-esteem and self worth.

At Preschool we encourage healthy eating and children are asked to bring a nutritious, packed lunch in a clearly labelled lunch box and a drink in a clearly labelled drink bottle.

All Blacktown City Council Preschools are transitioning to the new National Quality Framework which is overseen by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). All centres comply with the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.
