Environment & Sustainability
Open space, leisure and recreational facilities present residents and visitors with every opportunity to pursue vibrant, healthy and family oriented lifestyles all year round.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the many environmental projects and interactive workshops that are available in the City, to benefit them at home and the environment.
Council undertakes a range of environmental sustainability programs that seek to balance economic and social sustainability. Some of the many programs are showcased on the following pages.
For further information on how you can get involved as an individual,
group or corporation, contact Council by email at ourenvironment@blacktown.nsw.gov.au or call 9839 6000.
