New Residents
Welcome to Blacktown City!
As the Mayor of Blacktown City, I would like to welcome and congratulate you on moving into your new home in Blacktown City.
The City of Blacktown is the largest Local Government Area in NSW with a population of more than 300,000 that is constantly growing and proudly diverse with more than 180 nationalities represented.
Council hosts numerous festivals and community events for our residents to enjoy. The area also boasts a large number of shopping centres, recreational facilities and sporting grounds for all residents to use.
Council has developed a Residents' Kit, featuring all the information you need to make your transition to Blacktown City a smooth one. You can download a full copy of the Residents' Kit here or browse the following pages of this section and Council's website.
If you have any ideas or feedback on other items we can include in the Residents' Kit, please let us know by calling 9839 6000 or emailing council@blacktown.nsw.gov.au.
Again, welcome to Blacktown City. I trust you will enjoy your time here and get to explore the many opportunities available in our magnificent City.
