Can my child go to the pool on their own?
Children under 10 and must be supervised by their parents at all times whilst in the centre.

Can I use my pension card?
Yes, for aquatic entry only. Certain pension cards are allowed. It must be a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card and the approved cards are:
- Carers Pension - CAR
- Disability Pension - DSP
- Invaild Pension - INV
- Wife of Disabled Pension - WP
- Wife of Aged Pension- WAGED
- Aged Pension- AGE
- Widow Pension- WA
- Veteran Affairs- DVA PCC
The Centrelink Health Care Cards and PPS are not accepted for free aquatic entry.

How much does it cost for a swim?
An adult swim costs $4.70 and for school aged children $3.90 unsupervised and for supervised children (5-17yrs old) $3.30

How can I get swimming lessons for my child or babies?
Your baby can start swimming lessons from 6 months of age.

When are school carnivals held at the Aquatic Centre?
School carnivals are held in the month of February and March each year. A list of the carnivals is available at the reception desk in January.
When is the Inflatable available?
During school holidays the inflatable is available for general public use. You also have exclusive use of the inflatable if you book a birthday party at Blacktown Aquatic Centre.
How old do you have to be to attend a health and fitness program?
You must be 16 years or older to participate in a non-supervised Health and Fitness program.
Can anyone participate in Blacktown Aquatic Centre's health and fitness program?
Yes, but some programs are specifically suited to different people. Some people may require a doctor's clearance prior to commencing a program. If you have a medical condition that you think may affect you during exercises please seek advice from a medical professional.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, all 3 pools are heated, however the outside pool is closed during the winter season.
What is the water temperature?
The pool water temperature is between 26°C and 28°C.
