Blacktown Aquatic Centre

Blacktown Aquatic Centre is Western Sydney's main competition pool hosting over 50 carnivals each year.

Kieran Perkins broke the World Record for the 800m Freestyle in our Olympic sized pool back in 1992.

Since then, Blacktown Aquatic Centre has undergone a refurbishment to expand our services and provide a training facility for the 2000 Olympic swimmers.

Blacktown Aquatic Centre prides itself on being more than just a competition pool however offering health, fitness, fun and leisure opportunities for everyone. Whether you are looking for a day out with the kids, the opportunity to relax or if you are ready to improve your fitness, we have the facilities and programs available for you.

  • Outdoor 6 lane 50m heated pool (Closed during Winter April - August)

SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVALS

Please be aware that School Swimming Carnivals will be held Monday - Friday until 9th March 2012. The indoor pool will not be available between the hours of 8am - 3pm on these days. The 6 lane Outdoor pool is available for the general public during this time.

How To Find Us

We are located on Boyd Street, Blacktown. There is a spacious free car park. If you are using public transport, bus routes stop at Blacktown Station and Devitt Street. Or if you are catching the train, hop off at Blacktown Station and it is a pleasant 10 minute stroll down Devitt Street to the centre.
