Friday 1st February, 2008 will mark the 5th Birthday of Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope.

In order the celebrate this landmark occasion the Centre is offering FREE AQUATICS AND FITNESS CENTRE ENTRY all weekend on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd February between 8am and 5pm.

Get the kids together and come and be part of the celebrations at the SURFSATIONAL 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY on Saturday 2nd February between 12 and 4pm. Get your face painted, challenge yourself at the sports clinics, meet the sports celebrities, cuddle up to a koala with Featherdale Wildlife Wanderer, climb the Mega Surfee pool inflatable, bounce on the Pepsi jumping castle or just relax and enjoy the live band.

For aspiring sports stars AFL NSW/ ACT will be conducting Auskick Clinics and Sports Stop will be conducting a free-throw competition with great giveaways.

The wave pool will be in action every hour all afternoon and the leisure pools, water cannons and fountains will provide plenty of fun all afternoon.

"The Surfsational 5th Birthday Party at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope is a celebration of the Centre's 5th Birthday and commitment to the Blacktown community," said Mayor of Blacktown City Councillor Leo Kelly. "There is plenty of entertainment on all afternoon for the whole family to enjoy".
