• 31/08/2006 Model Rail is Big Fun!

  Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope will be home to Thomas the Tank Engine, Winnie the Pooh, Bob the Builder and Postman Pat for one weekend only! These famous children’s characters will only be a part of the fun when the Centre hosts the Blacktown City Model Railway Club’s Model Rail and Hobby Expo as part of the 2006 Blacktown City Centenary Games Celebrations on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10, 2006

• 30/08/2006 Children get active after school

  Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope is helping children from Blacktown City Council’s Goddard Crescent After School Care get active after school. A Fitness Consultant from the Centre is conducting weekly training sessions with the children, helping motivate them to stay active, as part of an Active After-School Communities Program.

• 29/08/2006 Kids Get Active After School!

  Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope is helping the kids from Blacktown City Council’s Goddard Crescent After School Care get active after school. A Fitness Consultant from the Centre will conduct weekly training sessions with the kids and help motivate them to stay active all through the week.

  On Saturday 2 September 2006, Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope will host Lifestyle Plus a celebration of health, fitness and wellbeing in the form of ‘Lifestyle Plus ‘06’.
