• 05/05/2006 Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope named Australia's Number One Leisure Centre!

  Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope has won Australia’s most prestigious industry award for leisure venues – the 2006 AH Pierce Memorial Facility of the Year. The Centre’s was named ‘Multi-Purpose Aquatic and Recreation Facility of the Year’ at the industry’s annual National Aquatic and Recreation Institute Conference Annual Dinner held at the Crown Plaza Terrigal, on Thursday 4th May, 2006.

• 02/05/2006 Active Family Fun Day a sucess at Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope

  Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope proudly hosted an Active Family Fun Day on Sunday April 30 2006. The day was a great success with hundreds of families from the Blacktown area and surrounds flocking to participate in an afternoon of fun water activities conducted by Royal Life Saving Society of Australia (RLSSA) and Blacktown Leisure Centre.
