Emerton Leisure Centre has a jammed packed month ahead, with a huge range of events and activities kick-starting at the Centre during October.

From their regular school holiday programs and Boot Camp Cadets, to a Pink Ribbon Breakfast and a new Star Mates play land - Emerton Leisure Centre has something on offer to suit everybody.

• Holiday Splash

Monday, September 29 - October 3: $45

October 7 - October 10, 2008: $36

An intensive learn to swim program designed to fast track swimmers development through the daily reinforcement of their swimming skills. Limited spaces, bookings essential.

• Holiday Blast

Monday, September 29 - October 10 (excluding weekends): $16 per day.

A fun and cost effective way to keep the kids entertained in the school holidays. Ideal for children 6 - 12 years, each day includes structured sports, games, activities, crafts, cooking school and more. Limited spaces, bookings essential.

• Boot Camp Cadets

5.30pm - 6.30pm (6 - 11 years)

6.30pm - 7.30pm (12 - 16 years)

Mondays & Wednesdays starting Monday October 13

Specifically designed for children 6 - 16 years, this Boot Camp is a military inspired exercise program for growing bodies. It will challenge all aspects of your children's health and fitness combining the benefits of one on one training with the camaraderie of group exercise. Limited spaces, bookings essential.

• Star Mates FREE Trial

9am - 2pm, Monday, October 20 & Friday, October 24

Star Mates is a new indoor adventure play land for children under 5 years to stimulate them physically, socially and creatively. Children will receive a wrist-band when they enter and parents will need to sign in and out.

• Pink Ribbon Brunch

10am, Monday, October 27

The Centre's Social Club will host a Pink Ribbon breakfast to raise money for cancer and provide an opportunity for people in the community to meet. Share a laugh over coffee and enjoy a great morning.
