Blacktown Careers and Employment Expo
The Blacktown City Careers and Employment Expo will be held on Thursday, September 2, between 10am - 2pm at Blacktown TAFE.
The expo aims to showcase career and industry opportunities available in Blacktown City for school leavers, job seekers and parents.
The Expo is a great opportunity for the community to find out what career possibilities exist in our area, meet potential employers and learn about the many employment opportunities that exist in Western Sydney
Last year, we saw a variety of employers taking resumes from attendees for positions, including local apprenticeships and traineeships. This year, we already have several trade and apprentice organisations registered early for the 2010 Expo.
Attendance is FREE for all visitors and will be held in Conference Block C, South Campus Blacktown College between 10am - 2pm.
Council also encourages any local business interested in a cost effective way to meet and recruit locally to register to occupy a stand at the EXPO, how else can you get your business in front of over 1,000 enthusiastic local job seekers?
Business stand numbers are limited so to secure your stand, please contact Councils Economic Development Officer, on 9839 6000.
