Celebrate Australia Day 2012 at the Rooty Hill

Celebrate Australia Day on The Rooty Hill, Morreau Reserve, Eastern Road, Rooty Hill on Thursday, 26 January, 2012 from 4pm to 9.30pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic, a blanket and enjoy the entertainment.
Our Australia Day celebrations at The Rooty Hill will provide entertainment and activities for the entire family to enjoy. The day will feature many performances by by performers including Justice Crew, Seattle Sound and Doc Neeson.
Don't miss out on an amazing parachute jump with the largest Australian Flag in the Southern Hemisphere, FREE amusement and pony rides, blacksmith demonstrations, food stalls and much more!
For the second year, Council has declared its celebration as alcohol-free, reaffirming its Australia Day celebrations as a family fun day.
Gates will open at 4pm and the entertainment will kick off at 4pm right through to 9.15pm when the night sky will light up with a fireworks spectacular presented by Endeavour Energy.
