Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Blacktown City

At last Wednesday's Council meeting, I was re-elected as Mayor of Blacktown City and Councillor Tony Bleasdale, OAM as Deputy Mayor.

I am proud to have the opportunity to continue to lead Blacktown City as Mayor, working with my fellow Councillors and with the local community - the community I have been proud to serve for 16 years on this Council and lived in for 50 years.

The past 12 months as Mayor, have been a period of great achievement for Council and the local area, with many developments, programs and events taking place throughout the City.

I look forward to working with incoming Deputy Mayor, Councillor Bleasdale, OAM and would like to thank outgoing Deputy Mayor, Councillor Kathie Collins, OAM for her outstanding work and support over the past 12 months.
