To be considered for an Apprenticeship or Traineeship at Blacktown City Council, commencing in 2012, please take note of the following important information/dates:

When applications open, applicants will need to complete the relevant application form, which can be found on our website under positions vacant:
- Trade Apprenticeships - Apprentice Application Form (HRF073)
- Business Administration Traineeships - Trainee Application Form (HRF072)
Applicants will be notified by the Human Resources section on progression through each stage of the recruitment process via their preferred method of contact (as noted on your application form).
Apprenticeships for 2012 placement are:
- Electrician x 1
- Gardener x 3
- Greenkeeper x 1
- Heavy Vehicle Plant Mechanic x 2
- Plumber x 1
Council offers 7 Business Administration Traineeships based in the following areas:
- Arts and Cultural Development (Arts Centre)
- Corporate Planning
- Blacktown City Information Centre
- Civil Maintenance
- Financial Services
- Human Resources/Learning & Development
- Public Relations
