2021 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NAIDOC Awards

Each year we celebrate the contributions of members of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to our City.

This year we will be awarding the following categories:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NAIDOC Award
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Person of the Year
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Organisation of the Year
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Young Achiever of the Year
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Sports Person of the Year.

Nominees must be:

  • an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person

  • live or work in Blacktown City

  • have made an outstanding contribution to our community.

Winners will be announced at the Western Sydney NAIDOC Week event on Thursday 8 July 2021, Baabayn & Holy Family Centre, Emert Parade, Emerton.

The awards presentation will start on stage at noon and will conclude at 12.30 pm.
