All non-for-profit organisations, schools within Blacktown LGA or commercial entities using the stages for a charitable circumstance are applicable to apply for a council stage at your next event. The council stage is 6m x 6m, 450mm high and includes 1 set of stairs.

There are a range of terms and conditions to consider before making a booking through the below link. By completing the online booking form you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

How to book a stage

Step 1.Review Terms and Conditions

Before requesting a stage booking please review the Terms and Conditions below. 

Step 2.Become an approved customer

If you are not an already approved customer to use Council's stages, please email events.team@blacktown.nsw.gov.au with your company details including a copy of your public liability and letter with proof of non-for-profit status.  You will then be contacted with your login details and can continue with the below booking process. 

Step 3.Book a stage

Once you have reviewed the below Terms and Conditions and you are eligible to receive a free stage, please submit your booking below. Council will notify you of your approval or decline within 1- 5 business days via email.

Step 4.Day before your booking

You will be contacted by the Council trades team within 24 hours of your booking time to organise delivery and access. Please ensure access to the stage setup is within 6 metres from where the truck can park. 

 

 

 

  • The stages are installed by Blacktown City Council trades staff strictly Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am – 1pm.
  • The truck must be able to drive up to the installation site within a 6 metre distance. 
  • All stages must be installed within an enclosed or secure facility. If this is not available a security guard will be required to be hired at the users cost to monitor the stage.
  • Please note council does not have access to provide disabled ramps or stage covers. These will have to be hired at the users own cost.
  • All users must seek appropriate permission from any association, venue owner or land owner before booking a stage. Council will not take any responsibility if this has not been arranged by the user.
  • Council staff must be able to drive within 5 metres of the installation area. This is not negotiable and is a safety requirement.
  • It is the responsibility of the user to inspect the stage after installation and notify Council if there are any issues before use.
  • If the stages are unavailable for any circumstance and council is unable to supply you a stage for your event or activity. It is not the responsibility of Council to arrange or pay for a private stage hire.
  • If you are a business or commercial entity not using the stages for a charitable circumstance you will not be permitted use of the Council stages.
