The pools at Blacktown Aquatic Centre will be closed on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 June 2019 due to technical issues with the pool water filtration system.
Please note that due to current weather conditions, all Council parks and sporting fields where sporting activities are conducted across Blacktown City will remain closed for all sports until4.00 pm Friday 28 June 2019. An update as to whether the parks and fields will be reopened will be made by Council on Friday 28 June 2019. by 12:00 Noon.

Bill Tsakalos joined Blacktown in 2015. In August 2018 he was appointed to lead a newly established directorate charged with the task of delivering the transformation of Blacktown in response to rapid growth and a changing economic profile. He brings international, private and public sector experience including leading the transformation of the City of Sydney for the 2000 Olympics.
