Please note – Council resolved on 13 May 2020 to adopt an amended borrowing policy and to amend its draft Operational Plan for 2020/21 and Long Term Financial Plan 2020-2030 to incorporate a new funding strategy. This funding strategy is to borrow for a 3 year fixed term an amount of $12.7 million to fund asset renewal works in the Works Improvement Program 2020/21. This policy is in effect until 30 June 2022 and is to specifically address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The report to Council considered on 13 May 2020 which details these measures and the reasons for this funding strategy is available by clicking on the link in related information.
The relevant amendments have been made in 3 of the exhibited documents (labelled as “revised 13 May 2020”) and these changes are indicated in green text in each document.
