Community invited to “Have Your Say” on proposed Council land sale

Blacktown City Council is inviting residents and business owners to have their say on a proposed sale of Council-owned land in Blacktown’s city centre. The market-price sale of the large parcel of land will pave the way for the development of the previously announced Blacktown Brain and Spinal Institute.

Blacktown City Council launches FREE adult swimming program.

Blacktown City residents will have the opportunity to develop important water safety skills with Blacktown City Council launching the Swim Sense program.
The FREE water confidence program is targeted at adults and will run at Council’s 5 leisure and aquatic centres from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 January and will include both wet and dry sessions covering water safety and learning to swim.
