Illegal Dumping

Dumping unwanted household items, garden and building waste is illegal and subject to on the spot fines of $8,000 or higher fines if the incident goes to court.  

If you have unwanted household items book a household clean up service.

Report illegal dumping:

• on the side of the road or on the footpath

• in council parks or car parks

• on private property.

Information that will help

If you see something illegally dumped, please obtain as much information as possible, such as:

• location where the incident occurred

• what was being dumped

• time of day and date

• registration plates and description of vehicle

• description of person

• any other identifying information.

Any information provided will be held in strictest confidence please obtain as much information as possible. 

Us or the Western Sydney Regional Illegal Dumping Squad will then commence its investigation.
