The WSUD maintenance schedule is an essential tool for managing your property’s WSUD system.  It provides vital information about your property’s individual WSUD devices, including what they are, what activities need to be undertaken for each asset, and when these activities should occur.

You can access the WSUD maintenance schedule by clicking here(DOCX, 877KB) .

You must provide us with a maintenance schedule for your property’s WSUD devices if:

  • it was a condition of consent for your property’s development, or

  • you receive written correspondence from us requesting a maintenance schedule and there are WSUD related covenants applicable to your property that require you to adhere to written notices from us.

How to create a WSUD maintenance schedule

To help you complete your maintenance schedule we have developed a step-by-step guide document showing the process.

You can access the How to create a WSUD maintenance schedule guide by clicking here(PDF, 927KB)

We will review your maintenance schedule and ask for more information if needed.

Due dates for inspection and maintenance work activities

To help you complete Section 2 of your WSUD maintenance schedule we have developed a table that summarises the requirements for different WSUD assets.

You can access the WSUD maintenance schedule - work activities frequencies table by clicking here(PDF, 112KB)

Getting your schedule approved

When you have completed the relevant sections of the WSUD maintenance schedule, you will need to send it to us for our review and approval at wsud@blacktown.nsw.gov.au It will be helpful and likely speed up the process of the review and approval if you also attach the Stormwater management report and signed Stormwater works-as-executed to the same email. We will review your maintenance schedule and ask for more information if needed.
