Computers, Printing, WIFI and more

Computer access

Computers are available for use at all Blacktown City Libraries locations. To use a computer simply sign in with your library card number and PIN.

All computers are Internet connected and include Microsoft Office programs.


WiFi access

Wireless hotspots are available in all public areas of the library. Daily limits apply.

If you see a message saying 'Access has been denied', the content you are trying to access is either blocked for security reasons or is too large to download using the library's free wireless service.

The wireless service automatically disconnects if you don't use your device for an extended period of time.


Printing

Black and white, and colour printing facilities are available at all Blacktown City Libraries locations. Prices are listed in our Library Fees and Charges document under Relevant Information below.

Mobile print services

You can print from any internet connected device, including your smartphone, tablet or laptop and collect it at Max Webber Library, Blacktown.

To upload your documents for printing, go to the PrinterOn website or use one of the PrinterOn apps available for Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices.

Collect your print job from the Technology Room on level 1 of Max Webber Library, Blacktown.


Photocopying

Black and white, and colour photocopying is available at all Blacktown City Libraries locations. Prices are listed in our Library Fees and Charges document under Relevant Information below.


Scanning

Scanning facilities are available at all Blacktown City Libraries locations and are free to all members.


Faxing

Fax machines are available for use at all Blacktown City Libraries locations. Prices are listed in our Library Fees and Charges document under Relevant Information below.

Group Workshops

From time to time Max Webber Library offers free workshops on a range of topics including: How to use a computer, How to set up an email account, Microsoft Word, Tablets, Smartphones, Operating systems e.g Apple, Android, Online shopping, Cybersafety, Cloud storage, Videocalls and Social media e.g Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
