Home Library Service

During the COVID19 pandemic the Home Library Service is offering a free home delivery service for residents of the city who are over 65 years of age.

Normally this service is only available to residents who are unable to visit one of the Blacktown City Libraries in person, by reason of age, sickness or other incapacity.

How to apply

  1. Please print the Home Library Service application form and Reader Profile form or contact the library to request a Home Library Service application package to be posted to you.
  2. Complete both forms. Please note that at this time the Home Library Service application form does not need to be signed by a doctor or a registered nurse.
  3. Staff will conduct a telephone interview to introduce you to the service. Books and other library materials will be selected according to your preferences, and delivered to your home on a fortnightly or monthly basis.
