Changes of waste and recycling services
To respond to the growth in the number of residential properties, particularly in the northern part of the City, it is necessary to change some collection days for garbage and recycling. In some cases this will mean changing the day of the week collections are made. In other instances only fortnightly recycling collection cycles will be changed. Please refer to the below list of changes:

Changes of garbage and recycling services for residents of Woodcroft
We are changing the garbage and recycling collection in Woodcroft commencing in November 2020. Please refer to the below map for affected areas.
Your last Tuesday garbage collection will be Tuesday 17 November 2020 and your last Tuesday recycling collection will be Tuesday 10 November 2020.
As we transition you to your new collection day:
- your first Wednesday garbage collection will be Wednesday 25 November 2020 and then every Wednesday
- your first Wednesday recycling collection will also be Wednesday 25 November 2020 and then every second Wednesday

Changes of recycling services for residents of Quakers Hill and Acacia Gardens
We are changing the fortnightly collection cycle in Quakers Hill and Acacia Gardens commencing in November 2020. Please refer to the below map for affected areas.
We will collect your recycling bin on Tuesday 17 November 2020 as normal. As we transition you to a new fortnightly cycle, we will collect your recycling bin again on Tuesday 24 November 2020 and then every second Tuesday.
It means you will have an extra collection as a one off only.

We are changing the fortnightly collection cycle in Blacktown commencing in November 2020. Please refer to the below map for affected areas.
We will collect your recycling bin on Wednesday 11 November 2020 as normal. As we transition you to a new fortnightly cycle, we will collect your recycling bin again on Wednesday 18 November 2020 and then every second Wednesday.
It means you will have an extra collection as a one off only.

We are changing the garbage and recycling collection in Riverstone, Rouse Hill and Schofields
commencing in November 2020. Please refer to the below map for affected areas.
Your last Thursday garbage collection will be Thursday 19 November 2020 and your last Thursday recycling collection will be Thursday 19 November 2020.
As we transition you to your new collection day:
- your first Friday garbage collection will be Friday 27 November 2020 and then every Friday
- your first Friday recycling collection will also be Friday 27 November 2020 and then every second Friday
