The James Morrison Quintet Gala Night

The 2018 Blacktown City Festival will open in spectacular fashion with this free gala evening featuring The James Morrison Quintet.

James Morrison is known throughout the world for his sheer brilliance as a jazz musician and will leave you in awe during this remarkable show.

The night will begin with a talented group of young performers, Broadway Reimagined. This is a new must see show taking classic Broadway tunes and musically reimagining them to lift the soul and warm the spirit. 

Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase (Eftpos available) at the show, as well as the following meal options priced at $11.90 each:

• Spaghetti in chunky Tomato and Meatballs sauce with Parmesan

• Banger and mash with Caramelised Onion and Peas

• Chicken Schnitzel with Chips and house Gravy

• Grilled Fish with Mustard sauce and mash

Alternatively you can have dinner prior to the show at one of Blacktown Workers Club's many restaurants. A list of options can be found here

What time do doors open?

Doors to the Diamond Showroom will open at 6.30pm.

The show will commence at 7.00pm and conclude at approximated 10.00pm.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, however Blacktown Workers Club general entry regulations will apply. If you are unsure- please contact the club on (02) 9830 0600 


What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available at the Blacktown Workers Club (time limits may apply)

Blacktown Workers Club is a 10 minute walk from Blacktown Train Station and Bus Terminal.


What can I bring into the event?

No external food or beverages are permitted inside the venue. See above for dinner options to purchase at the show- otherwise Blacktown Workers Club has a great range of meal options

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You will need to show either your printed ticket OR mobile ticket using the for entry. Please have these with QR CODE ready to scan when entering.


Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes- each ticket has a unique QR CODE which when scanned permits entry to 1 person, regardless of the name on the registration.
