Streets Alive and Parade Day


The Streets Alive and Parade Day will bring an array of colour to the Blacktown CBD.  Featuring 6 performance and activities areas, art and craft stalls, free amusement rides, animal displays, dog shows, wildlife displays, roving entertainment, and plenty of attractions for the entire family to enjoy.

Come and grab a bite to eat in the food truck and dessert section on the Village Green and have a go on the mini golf course!

Commencing at 11 am, a vibrant and spectacular street parade will travel through the CBD, showcasing Blacktown’s multiculturalism, our history and emergency services.

Headlining the 2019 event will be Stan Walker, performing live at 1pm on the Main stage.

Due to the the partial closure of Westpoint Shopping Centre Car Park and construction in the Blacktown CBD, there is limited parking available in Blacktown. To avoid congestion in the CBD, below are possible parking options:

  • Colo Lane car park, Colo Lane, Blacktown   
  • Blacktown TAFE car park, Main Street, Blacktown  
  • Blacktown Railway Station car park, 36-38 First Avenue, Blacktown 
  • Warrick Lane, Blacktown (after 1 pm) 
  • Boys Avenue, Blacktown 
  • Commuter car park, First Avenue, Blacktown
  • Blacktown Showground, Richmond Road, Blacktown.

Alternatively, we encourage you to catch public transport. Please be aware buses are replacing some trains on this day, please visit the Transport NSW website for updated details and to plan your trip.
