Get your heart racing at Sydney DragwaySydney Motorsport Park and Eastern Creek Speedway, all motorsport megaplexes hosting fast action dragster, motorcycle, sprint, V8 and other car racing, and other special events ranging from music festivals to large scale expos. Experience fast karting action at Eastern Creek Karting Raceway in the same precinct also.

For more sport you can attend major events at the Blacktown International Sportspark, Sydney. Support the Sydney Bluesox who play their home baseball games at this former Sydney 2000 Olympic venue. Western Sydney Wanderers FC are also based in Blacktown. 

Located in neighbouring Prospect, Raging Waters Sydney features more than 40 slides and attractions including a kids zone as well as some of the tallest and fastest water rides in the world. Open from September through to April each year.

Visit Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, home to one of Australia's most comprehensive collections of native wildlife, including koalas and kangaroos, wallabies, emus, birds and over 40 species of reptiles. Also in Blacktown, one of Sydney's newest attractions is Sydney Zoo, which exhibits a wide range of animals in a safari-like experience.

Stroll through the picturesque and relaxing Chang Lai Yuan Garden, featuring a Gateway, Seven Arch Stone Bridge, Light Mountain Pavillion and a Waterfall Gazebo. Located within Nurragingy Reserve, this exquisite garden was designed as a symbolic gesture of friendship with the sister city of Liaocheng in China.

Explore the rich heritage of the area at Rouse Hill Estate. Established c1813, this 13 hectare property contains over 185 years of history in its stables, summerhouse and outbuildings as well as the beautiful Georgian house. Tour the property with a guide. On the same site is Muru Mittigar Aboriginal Cultural Centre, which tells the story of the Darug people, the traditional owners of the area.

Visit the innovative Blacktown Arts Centre, a multi-arts facility with a curated program of exhibitions, performances and workshops and be astounded by the Sydney Colisuem Theatre, West HQ in Rooty Hill, breathtakingly beautiful and technically brilliant with its 2000 seat auditorium.

Blacktown is also home to the only remaining movie Drive In in the Sydney region. Visit the Skyline Drive In in Prospect for a nostalgic night of fun, complete with a retro diner, and enjoy the latest blockbusters.
