Seasonal allocation
Our seasonal sporting grounds are allocated based on a fair and equitable system. The allocation process takes into account prior use, community benefit, scheduled ground maintenance and capital works.
Our commitment is to providing quality sporting facilities for its residents, and the seasonal sporting grounds allocation process is an important part of this commitment.
Summer allocations
Summer Season - 2nd Saturday in September to 2nd Saturday in March.
Winter allocations
Winter Season - 2nd Sunday of March to 1st Sunday in September.
Pre-season training
Pre-season training may commence from the first week in February or August, but must not conflict with requirements of the current season hirer’s end of season competition.
Council approval should be sought prior to commencing any pre-season training as unauthorised use may conflict with scheduled use of a ground by another club, school or casual booking; or with important ground maintenance work. Additional hire fees and charges will apply.
Casual or one-off hire and school bookings
Our sporting grounds are available for hire on a casual basis for training and games, carnivals and community activities.
Casual use and school bookings need to be submitted to Council at least 10 working days before the event date.

Special and major event bookings
Event organisers wanting to conduct an event on land owned by Council need to complete an event application form. Applications should be submitted to Council up to 10 weeks prior to the proposed date of your event for major events.

You need to attach the following documents to this application:

Event program and detailed site plan

Listing of all members of the organising committee/group, setting out their roles, mobile phone and email details

Applicant’s Public Liability Insurance Certificate of currency to the value of at least $20 million

Traffic control and management plan

Waste management plan
-
Public Liability and Indemnity Policy insurance policy/certificate of currency to the value of at least $20 million (if applicable) from third parties, e.g. amusement or pyrotechnic providers

Workcover compliance (if applicable) from third parties, e.g. amusement or pyrotechnic providers
-
Risk management and assessment plan (if applicable) from third parties, e.g. amusement or pyrotechnic providers.
Prices and permits vary depending on the nature of the booking and the park/ reserve requested.

Commercial training and fitness groups
If you are a personal or group trainer and are interested in conducting your business on Council owned assets, you will need to submit an Application for Personal Trainers and Commercial Fitness Groups form(PDF, 311KB).
Each fitness trainer must be accredited and registered with Fitness NSW and provide a valid public liability insurance coverage in the sum of $10 million which is to be maintained throughout the whole period of this agreement covering all of the activities permitted by this approval.

From here your application will be assessed and Council will get into contact with you regarding your request.
New club application form
This form provides opportunity to members and groups of our community the chance to put forward their request with supporting documentation as to why a given field should be allocated to their respective organisation.
Please note that due to the high usage of our fields and long standing seasonal bookings, new applications may not be able to be accommodated.
